Why linking to Google code makes sense

Consider following scenarios-



Scenario 1



User visits site 1. jQuery files are hosted on same domain so these files are downloaded by browser.

Now, user visits site 2 in another tab.

Here too jQuery files are hosted on same server again, jQuery files are downloaded by browser.


Scenario 2

User visits site 1.

jQuery files are hosted on Google code and are downloaded by browser initially.

Translate page without refresh

Here's a cool tip for all of you who need to implement Google Translator on nice and easy way.



I had a problem few days ago to implement Google Translator, but to preserve session and articles in cart on this site. I found several plugins but all of them opened new page in iFrame. Session was destroyed and cart was empty.
