There's no harm in it, so why not? I think it's great to have choices, diversity, and I hope that you share this open mindset regardless of anything else. I look forward to the next meet up and hopefully we can co-host events, collaborate, and cross-promote each other's group's platforms.

Thank you for your message and joining my meetup group. I think it's great to promote this technology any way we can and provide for multiple platforms and options. I don't mind paying for a meetup account as another way to reach jQuery professionals and enthusiasts. Each group, though same topic, will promote a different agendas, so I think rather than counter-productive they will complement each other... as you can see I'm part of your group and you are part of mine and I look forward to attending your meetups as I hope for you to attend mine :)
