I don't see why there is a need to have two jQuery NYC meetups with two different agendas...I would welcome your input and aid in putting together the existing meetup, and if you want to use the meetup.com group to advertise the actual meetings as well, that's great, but given the fact that there's NYCJS, and BKJS, etc., it seems like overkill to have two separate groups going.
trying to figure out why we'd need a second meetup group on meetup.com.. i know it's been awhile since this "meetup" has happened, but it looks like we're trying to get the next one together, and having two separate meetup forums doesn't really seem like a productive thing to me...
