For what it's worth PhillyJS has become pretty active. Since this group has been dormant for over a year, I'd encourage all of you interested in JavaScript to check out it out.

i'm going for the boston, staying for the t-shirt. i'm kind of disappointed at the location tho. the hotel at the airport? really? 07 was at harvard, 08 was at MIT, 09 was at microsoft . . . the airport is kinda lame and rather inaccessible to the city by foot.
but truth be told, i am pretty excited!

If you do go up, check out MegaBus.com - I have a trip to boston later this month and my bus ticket from Philly to Boston was $1, and the same for the ticket back. I got to choose my time of day I wanted to travel, and the bus has free wifi. I drove to Boston twice in the past year, and for $2 it's worth it :)
