Utilize HTML5 APIs today in your JavaScript!
This three-part series will cover the current and planned implementations of the HTML5 JavaScript APIs that will lead to the coming Golden Age of JavaScript web applications.
What to expect: Strictly HTML5 APIs / DOM and JavaScript and their implementations in the major browsers.
What not to expect: HTML semantic markup, CSS Transforms, other non-JavaScript HTML5.
The HTML5 specification is MASSIVE! and covering everything in it would be more tedious than comprehensive with so much still in planning. We will not cover specifications, but will instead cover current and future implementations.
Lists of existing sites and example sites in addition to current HTML5 JavaScript libraries will be given as well! Additionally, please email us if any important HTML5 API / JavaScript aspects have been left out!
